Detailed introduction

Anyang, located in northern Henan Province at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, is a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than 3,300 years. It is home to the Yin Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where about 150,000 oracle bone fragments were unearthed, earning it the title 'Capital of Chinese Characters'. Anyang is also the birthplace of the Zhouyi (I Ching) culture, with the Youli City being the place where King Wen of Zhou interpreted the hexagrams. Economically, Anyang is an important industrial base in Henan, with steel, equipment manufacturing, and food processing as leading industries, while also vigorously developing cultural tourism. In education, Anyang hosts several universities such as Anyang Normal University and Anyang Institute of Technology, offering specialized programs in Chinese language, history, and archaeology for international students. In terms of daily life, despite being a fifth-tier city, it has a high population density, well-developed commercial facilities, low prices, and a relaxed pace of life. The climate has four distinct seasons: hot and rainy summers, cold and dry winters, and pleasant springs and autumns. The local people are simple and honest, and public security is good, allowing international students to deeply integrate into northern Chinese life.
