City overview
Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, located in central Gansu Province, is one of China's two Hui autonomous prefectures, often called 'China's Little Mecca.' It blends rich Islamic culture with Northwest Chinese traditions, famous for Hui brick carvings, Hezhou cuisine, and vibrant folk customs. With an arid climate and large temperature differences, it offers a unique Silk Road cultural experience.
