Acupuncture and Tuina is a highly hands-on TCM specialty focused on using needles, moxibustion, and manual techniques to treat diseases, prevent illness, and regulate the body. Core courses include Meridian and Acupoint Studies, Acupuncture and Moxibustion Techniques, Tuina Manipulation, TCM Diagnostics, and Anatomy. You'll practice needling on models, perform tuina on classmates, and eventually shadow doctors in affiliated hospitals. This program suits students who enjoy hands-on work, have patience, and are interested in TCM culture. Many Chinese TCM universities (e.g., Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou) offer strong clinical teaching resources, with instructors who are experienced doctors, ensuring you gain real skills.
