Program overview
Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Engineering, simply put, is about giving agricultural machinery a "brain" and "eyes." You won't be learning to drive a traditional tractor; instead, you'll learn how to make tractors drive themselves, how to use drones to check crop health, and how to use sensors for automatic irrigation and fertilization. Core courses include mechanical design, automatic control, sensor technology, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and agricultural robotics. China is developing rapidly in this field, and many universities have dedicated experimental farms and smart greenhouses where you can operate cool equipment like unmanned harvesters and crop protection drones. It's suitable for students who enjoy hands-on work, are interested in both mechanics and electronics, and want to make agriculture cooler.
