Program overview
In simple terms, this program gives agriculture a “smart brain” and “automated hands and feet.” At the graduate level, you’ll learn how to use power systems, sensors, automatic control, and the Internet of Things to make farming, animal husbandry, and agricultural product processing easier and more precise. Core courses include Agricultural Power Systems, Intelligent Control Theory, Agricultural Robotics, Precision Agriculture and IoT, and more. It’s perfect for those who love technology but don’t want to stay in the lab all day—people willing to go out into the fields to solve real-world problems. Chinese universities have a unique edge here: China Agricultural University and South China Agricultural University, for example, have dedicated experimental farms and smart equipment platforms where you can get hands-on with drones, driverless tractors, and other real gear.
