Program overview
The International Politics program (graduate level) primarily studies interactions between states, international organizations, and non-state actors. You will learn core courses such as International Relations Theory, International Law, International Political Economy, Diplomacy, and Regional and Country Studies. In Chinese universities, this program places special emphasis on integrating China's diplomatic practices and global governance issues, such as the Belt and Road Initiative research, South-South cooperation, and global security governance. Many schools invite experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and think tanks to give lectures, and even offer internship opportunities at UN agencies in China or the China Institute of International Studies. It is suitable for students who are curious about the world order, enjoy analyzing international news, and are willing to understand cultural conflicts and cooperation from multiple perspectives. If you have strong logical thinking and English skills, this program will be a perfect fit.
