Liaoning University (LNU) is a comprehensive key university located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, in Northeast China. It is a national 'Double First-Class' construction university and a key university under the '211 Project'.
Founded in 1948 through the merger of several institutions, LNU has a rich history. The university operates three campuses: Chongshan, Puhe in Shenyang, and Wusheng in Liaoyang, covering an area of 2,222 mu with 690,000 square meters of building space.
Liaoning University is renowned for its programs in economics, management, law, and literature. Economics is a national key discipline, and applied economics is part of the national 'Double First-Class' initiative.
