Nanjing University of Finance & Economics

Located in Nanjing, the economic and cultural hub of eastern China, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics (NUFE) is a high-level university jointly built by the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration.

With a strong emphasis on economics and management, NUFE offers a comprehensive range of disciplines including law, engineering, science, literature, and arts. As a Class B institution under the Jiangsu High-Level University Construction Peak Plan, NUFE enjoys a solid reputation in the financial sector and maintains extensive partnerships with universities and enterprises worldwide, fostering a vibrant international atmosphere.

NUFE's flagship programs include economics, finance, accounting, statistics, and business administration, with applied economics and business administration recognized as provincial superior disciplines. The university offers 2 first-level doctoral degree programs, 14 first-level master's programs, and 22 professional master's programs, ranking among the top finance and economics universities in Jiangsu.

Its close collaboration with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration gives NUFE a unique edge in grain economics, food safety, and supply chain management. In 2022, NUFE was granted doctoral degree-conferring status, and in 2025, it received the qualification to recommend outstanding graduates for postgraduate admission without examination, reflecting its high academic standards.

NUFE boasts a highly qualified faculty of over 1,300 full-time teachers, with more than 50% holding professorial titles, including several recipients of national talent programs. The university comprises 22 academic schools offering 48 undergraduate programs and 4 Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate programs.

NUFE's three campuses each offer a unique environment. The main Xianlin campus is located in the Xianlin University Town, featuring modern teaching buildings, a library, and advanced laboratories. The Fujian Road campus sits in the city center with convenient transportation and complete living facilities, while the Qiaotou campus is known for its tranquil garden-like setting.

The university's teaching and research equipment is valued at over 300 million RMB, including smart classrooms, financial simulation labs, and big data analysis platforms. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning, hot water, and internet, and the canteens offer diverse cuisines to accommodate international students.
