Shandong First Medical University

Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) is located in Jinan and Tai'an, Shandong Province. It is a key high-level university in Shandong and a member of the provincial 'Top-tier' university construction project.

Approved by the Ministry of Education and run by the Shandong Provincial Government, it is one of the first pilot universities for the Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program and is eligible to recommend graduates for postgraduate study without examination.

Shandong First Medical University's flagship programs include Clinical Medicine, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy, and Nursing. Clinical Medicine ranks in the top 0.74‰ of ESI globally, a standout achievement. The university has 9 disciplines in the ESI top 1%, including Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology & Toxicology, and Biology & Biochemistry.

The university has two campuses in Jinan and Tai'an, covering over 6,000 mu (about 400 hectares).
