Northwest University of Political Science and Law

Northwest University of Political Science and Law (NWUPL), located in the historic city of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is a high-level university jointly established by the central government and Shaanxi Province. As a prestigious member of the 'Five Academies and Four Departments' in China's legal education system, it is recognized as a national team for cultivating legal professionals and a leading center for legal education, research, and humanities in Northwest China.

The university is a key construction university under Shaanxi Province's 'Double First-Class' initiative and a member of both the 'Lige Alliance' for national legal higher education and the 'Chang'an Alliance' for Xi'an universities.

NWUPL operates two campuses: Chang'an (main) and Yanta, covering a total area of 1,343 mu (about 89.5 hectares). The Chang'an campus features modern teaching buildings, a library, labs, and sports facilities amidst a green and pleasant environment.

The Yanta campus, located in downtown Xi'an near the iconic Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, offers rich cultural surroundings. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning and internet access. Multiple on-campus cafeterias provide diverse dining options.
