Binzhou Medical University

Shandong Medical And Pharmaceutical University (formerly Binzhou Medical College) is a public full-time undergraduate institution located in Yantai, Shandong Province, with two campuses in Yantai and Binzhou. Approved by the Ministry of Education and administered by Shandong Province, its origins trace back to the Medical College of National Shandong University in 1946.

After evolving through Qingdao Medical College, Beizhen Medical College, and Binzhou Medical College, it was renamed Shandong Medical And Pharmaceutical University in March 2026, marking a new chapter. Recognized as a characteristic university for applied talent cultivation and a doctoral degree-granting project unit, the university emphasizes practical training with 5 directly affiliated hospitals and 9 non-directly affiliated hospitals.
