Guangdong University of Finance and Economics

Guangdong University of Finance & Economics (GDUFE) is located in Guangdong Province, China's economic powerhouse, with two campuses in Guangzhou and Foshan covering a total area of 2,275 mu (about 152 hectares). Founded in 1983 as Guangdong Institute of Finance and Economics, it was renamed Guangdong University of Finance & Economics in 2013 and gained doctoral degree-granting status in 2021.

As a pilot institution for the Ministry of Education's New Business Smart Learning Workshop and a member of the University Alliance of the Silk Road, GDUFE is committed to cultivating globally-minded talents in finance, economics, law, and management.

GDUFE's core strengths lie in its distinctive focus on finance, economics, law, and business, combined with strong industry reputation. The university's educational philosophy integrates law with business and arts with sciences, creating flagship programs in accounting, finance, and law that are highly regarded in South China.

As a key university under Guangdong's 'Double First-Class' initiative, GDUFE holds doctoral programs in applied economics and business administration, demonstrating strong research capabilities. It chairs the Guangdong Provincial New Liberal Arts Construction Steering Committee, leading educational innovation.

GDUFE comprises 27 teaching and research units offering 67 undergraduate programs across economics, management, law, literature, science, and engineering. It has 2 first-level doctoral degree authorization points, 11 first-level master's degree authorization points, and 23 professional master's degree authorization points, forming a complete bachelor's-master's-doctoral education system.

The faculty includes over 1,600 full-time teachers, with more than 50% holding senior titles, and many recognized by national talent programs. The curriculum emphasizes practice and innovation, featuring the Ministry of Education's New Business Smart Learning Workshop, provincial key laboratories, and industry-academia collaboration courses.

GDUFE's Guangzhou campus is located in Chisha, Haizhu District, near the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, while the Foshan campus is in Sanshui District. Both campuses feature modern facilities, including teaching buildings, labs, libraries, and sports centers, with total teaching and research equipment valued at nearly 194 million yuan.

Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning, hot water, and internet, ensuring comfortable living. Multiple dining halls offer diverse cuisines. The campuses are green and scenic, with lakes and gardens, creating a pleasant study environment.
