Foshan University

Foshan University is a public full-time undergraduate institution located in Foshan, Guangdong Province, at the core of the Greater Bay Area, near Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it has the authority to confer doctoral and master's degrees and is designated as a high-level university with key disciplines in Guangdong Province.

As an applied university, it emphasizes industry-education integration, closely collaborating with Foshan's manufacturing and modern agriculture sectors. It is a Ministry of Education school-enterprise co-built entrepreneurship practice base and a Ministry of Science and Technology national-level star innovation and entrepreneurship space.

Foshan University's flagship programs are in engineering and agriculture, such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Veterinary Medicine, with the latter enjoying a strong reputation in South China.

As a high-level university with key disciplines in Guangdong, it holds two first-level doctoral degree authorization points and nine first-level master's degree authorization points, with steadily improving academic strength.

Foshan University has three campuses: Xianxi, Jiangwan, and Hebin. The main Xianxi campus features a scenic environment with lakes and hills, modern teaching buildings, labs, and a library.
