Hebei University of Economics and Business

Hebei University of Economics and Business (HUEB) is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. It is an applied research-oriented university specializing in economics, management, and law, complemented by disciplines such as literature, science, engineering, and arts.

Established by the Hebei Provincial Government, HUEB is a key backbone university in Hebei and a second-tier institution in the national first-class university construction project. Its history dates back to 1953, and it was formed in 1995 through the merger of Hebei Finance and Economics Institute, Hebei Economics and Trade Institute, and Hebei Commercial College.

HUEB excels in finance and economics, with flagship programs in economics, management, and law. Disciplines like industrial economics, economic law, and business administration have master's degree authorization. As a key university in Hebei, it ranks among the top finance and economics institutions in the province, often called the 'cradle of Hebei financial talents.' The university is authorized to recommend outstanding undergraduates for postgraduate study without exams, facilitating further education.

It also hosts multiple research centers and think tanks focusing on regional economy, financial reform, and legal practice. Graduates enjoy high employment rates, especially in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and are highly regarded by employers in the finance and business sectors.

Free Wi-Fi covers the entire campus, and facilities include multiple canteens, supermarkets, banks, and a medical center. Student dormitories are typically four-person rooms with air conditioning and private bathrooms. The South and West Campuses, housing the independent college, also have complete facilities.
