Shaoxing University

Shaoxing University (formerly Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences) is located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, a historic city famous for its canals, yellow wine, and calligraphy, and the hometown of writer Lu Xun. As a public full-time undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, it has the authority to confer master's degrees and has been approved as a doctoral degree-granting project construction unit.

Recognized as a National College English Teaching Reform Demonstration School and a Zhejiang Applied Construction Pilot School, the university emphasizes internationalization and practical talent cultivation. It has established exchange programs with universities worldwide, fostering an open and inclusive atmosphere.

Shaoxing University has four campuses: the main campus (Hedong, Hexi, Nanshan), Lanting, Shangyu, and Songliuling, covering a total area of 2,493.71 mu (about 166 hectares). The campuses blend Jiangnan water town aesthetics with modern architecture.

The Lanting campus is adjacent to the famous Lanting calligraphy site, rich in cultural atmosphere. Facilities include smart classrooms, laboratories, and sports centers. Student dormitories are well-equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms.
