China People's Police University

China People's Police University (CPPU) is a full-time higher education institution directly under the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. Its main campus is located in Mentougou District, Beijing, with additional campuses in Langfang (Hebei) and Guangzhou (Guangdong).

Originally established in 1981 as the China Armed Police Force Academy, it was renamed in 2018 and also operates as the International Law Enforcement Cooperation College of the Ministry of Public Security and the China Peacekeeping Police Training Center.

CPPU's core strengths lie in its unique industry status and international resources. As a university directly under the Ministry of Public Security, it is hailed as the 'Cradle of Loyal Guardians' and enjoys unparalleled reputation in public security, border control, fire protection, and peacekeeping.

Its flagship programs include Police Command and Tactics, Criminal Science and Technology, Cybersecurity and Law Enforcement, and Fire Engineering, many of which are recognized as national first-class undergraduate programs.

Academically, CPPU comprises 17 secondary colleges offering 19 undergraduate majors and 7 first-level master's degree disciplines covering law, engineering, management, and more. The faculty is highly qualified, with over 40% holding senior titles, and many have overseas study or peacekeeping experience.

The curriculum emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, requiring students to complete simulated police operations, crime scene investigation, and firefighting drills. Research platforms include key laboratories of the Ministry of Public Security, the Smart Policing Research Center, and the International Law Enforcement Cooperation Institute, undertaking hundreds of national and provincial research projects.

CPPU has two main campuses in Langfang and Guangzhou, with a total building area of over 527,000 square meters. The Langfang campus is the main one, equipped with modern teaching buildings, simulated streets, shooting ranges, and physical training centers.

The Guangzhou campus focuses on international law enforcement training, featuring a peacekeeping police simulation camp and multilingual simultaneous interpretation classrooms. Living conditions are comfortable: student dormitories are four-person rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and high-speed internet; canteens offer Chinese and Western cuisine to accommodate different dietary habits.
