NingboTech University

Located in Ningbo, a major port city and economic hub on China's southeast coast, NingboTech University is a full-time public undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Originally established in 2001 as Zhejiang University Ningbo Institute of Technology, it became an independent public university in 2020.

The university is positioned as an application-oriented institution, recognized as one of the first pilot demonstration schools for applied education in Zhejiang Province. With a campus spanning 74.4 hectares and 384,000 square meters of modern buildings, it offers a vibrant learning environment.

NingboTech's core strength lies in its close alignment with regional industries. Flagship programs include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biological and Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, and International Economics and Trade, with six disciplines designated as provincial key disciplines.

The university is a master's degree project construction unit in Zhejiang, offering three master's degree programs and supervised by 255 graduate advisors (including 16 doctoral supervisors). It has strong industry partnerships, with many practice bases co-built with local companies, resulting in a graduate employment rate consistently above 95%.

Academically, NingboTech comprises 11 colleges offering 35 undergraduate programs across engineering, science, economics, management, humanities, and law. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning through project-based courses and corporate internships.

The university boasts 177 high-standard teaching and research laboratories, including several provincial key labs and engineering centers. Its library holds over 1.69 million volumes, supporting extensive academic research.

The campus features a green, modern environment with state-of-the-art facilities. All classrooms are equipped with multimedia systems, and the library offers 24-hour study spaces. Laboratories are well-equipped for practical training.

Student dormitories provide air conditioning, hot water, and private bathrooms, while cafeterias serve diverse cuisines.
