Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University

Located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University (JXSTNU) is a public multi-disciplinary undergraduate institution co-built by the provincial government and the national ministry.

It is renowned for its distinctive focus on vocational education teacher training, serving as a key base for national vocational education research and a national key construction base for vocational teacher training. As one of the first eight independent vocational technical normal colleges in China, it is the only undergraduate university in Jiangxi with this specialization.

JXSTNU's core strength lies in its unique positioning as a cradle for vocational education teachers. It boasts 2 ESI top 1% disciplines (Chemistry and Materials Science), 2 provincial 'Double First-Class' potential disciplines, and 1 provincial high-level discipline.

The university has 2 national characteristic specialty programs (Tourism Management and Applied Chemistry), 9 national first-class undergraduate programs (including Education, Computer Science, etc.), and 27 provincial first-class programs.

The university employs 1,917 staff, including 1,496 full-time teachers, 654 with senior professional titles, and 644 with doctoral degrees. It has 239 provincial-level or above outstanding talents, including experts enjoying special government allowances, national talent program members, and Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talents.

Teaching and research equipment is valued at over 550 million yuan, with provincial key laboratories and engineering research centers. The library holds 2.873 million paper books and extensive electronic resources. JXSTNU has 22 teaching units offering 58 undergraduate programs.

JXSTNU has two campuses, Hongjiaozhou and Fenglin, covering a total area of 2,159.18 mu with 704,000 square meters of building space. Hongjiaozhou is the main campus, featuring a beautiful environment blending modern architecture with natural landscapes.

Facilities include teaching buildings, laboratories, a library, gymnasium, and student activity center. Dormitories (4-6 person rooms) are equipped with air conditioning, water heaters, and private bathrooms. The cafeteria offers diverse dining options.
