Huaiyin Normal University

Huaiyin Normal University is located in Huai'an, Jiangsu Province—a nationally renowned historical and cultural city known for its scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage, and the hometown of Premier Zhou Enlai. As a provincial higher education institution with master's degree-granting authority, the university focuses on teacher education as its core strength.

Established in 1997 through the merger of Huaiyin Teachers College and Huaiyin Education College, it later incorporated Huaiyin Normal School and Huai'an Normal School in 2000. In 2021, it was approved as a master's degree-granting institution, marking a significant milestone.

Huaiyin Normal University is renowned for its teacher education programs, which have a long-standing reputation in Jiangsu Province and beyond. It is one of the key provincial normal universities, with master's programs in Education and Biology & Pharmacy approved in 2021.
