Shandong Jiaotong University, located in Jinan, Shandong Province with multiple campuses in Jinan and Weihai, is a full-time public undergraduate institution jointly established by the Ministry of Transport and the Shandong Provincial Government.
Founded in 1956 as the Jinan Automobile Machinery School of the Ministry of Transport, it was restructured into its current form in 2002 through the merger of Jinan Communications College and China Heavy Truck Staff University.
