Xi'an Medical University

Xi'an Medical University, located in the historic city of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is a full-time undergraduate institution sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial Government. With a focus on clinical medicine and a strength in general practice, the university is dedicated to training high-quality medical professionals.

As a pilot university for the Ministry of Education's first batch of Excellent Doctor Education and Training Programs, it leads in medical education reform. The university comprises three campuses—Hanguang, Weiyang, and Gaoxin—covering 775 mu, offering a pleasant environment and convenient transportation.

Xi'an Medical University's flagship programs include clinical medicine, general practice, nursing, and pharmacy. It is among the first batch of national pilot universities for reforming clinical medicine master's professional degree training models, and serves as Shaanxi Province's general practitioner training base and grassroots doctor training center, earning a strong reputation in primary care education.

The university operates 6 directly affiliated hospitals and 33 teaching hospitals, offering abundant clinical practice resources. Additionally, it is a construction unit of Shaanxi Province's 'First-Class College' project, with medical education quality ranking high in western China.

The university has 15 teaching units, 20 undergraduate programs, and 2 master's degree authorization points. Its faculty of 902 full-time teachers includes a high proportion of senior professors, many with overseas study or research experience.
