Anhui Science and Technology University

Located in Anhui Province, Anhui Science and Technology Engineering University (formerly Anhui Science and Technology University) operates three campuses in Fengyang, Longhu, and Chuzhou, covering over 2,600 mu. Founded in 1950 and renamed in 2026, it is a national education modernization project university and one of the first application-oriented high-level universities in Anhui.

With about 22,000 full-time students and 1,400 faculty members, the university actively promotes internationalization, partnering with universities in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and other countries for student exchanges, joint programs, and research collaboration.

The university excels in engineering and agricultural technology, being a pilot for the Ministry of Education's Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program. Flagship majors include Agriculture, Animal Medicine, Mechanical Design & Automation, Electronic Information Engineering, and Computer Science, with Agriculture and Animal Medicine recognized as national first-class undergraduate programs.

The university comprises 14 colleges offering 67 undergraduate programs. Faculty includes over 40% senior professors and 35% with doctoral degrees. The curriculum emphasizes theory-practice integration, supported by 8 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 3 virtual simulation centers, and multiple industry-university cooperation bases.

Research platforms include the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Agricultural Biotechnology and the Anhui Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing. The university has undertaken over 50 national research projects, achieving significant results in crop genetics, animal disease control, and intelligent manufacturing.

The three campuses offer distinct environments: Fengyang campus features historic charm with lush greenery; Longhu campus boasts modern facilities including smart classrooms, a large gymnasium, and an entrepreneurship incubation center; Chuzhou campus is conveniently located in the city center with easy access to amenities.
