Guangxi University of Finance and Economics

Located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi University of Finance and Economics (GUFE) is a full-time public undergraduate institution. It focuses on economics and management, while also offering programs in science, engineering, liberal arts, law, and arts.

As a project university for applied undergraduate education approved by the Ministry of Education and a Guangxi distinctive higher education institution, GUFE serves as the China-ASEAN Finance and Taxation Talent Training Center and is among the first batch of national demonstration universities for innovation and entrepreneurship education.

GUFE's flagship programs include accounting, finance, and public finance, which are highly regarded in Guangxi and beyond. As a master's degree-granting unit for accounting under the 'Service National Special Needs' program, it offers distinctive advantages in accounting education.

The university is a Guangxi first-class discipline construction institution, with strong programs in applied economics and business administration. It emphasizes industry-academia integration, partnering with financial institutions and enterprises for internships, resulting in high graduate employment rates.

GUFE comprises 15 teaching schools offering 51 undergraduate programs and 15 master's degree programs. The faculty includes 1,192 full-time teachers, many with overseas experience. The curriculum blends theory with practice, featuring case studies and project-based learning.

Research platforms include the Guangxi Institute of Finance and Economics and the China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Research Center, focusing on regional development and ASEAN cooperation. The university collaborates with ASEAN universities on joint programs and hosts the annual China-ASEAN Finance Forum.

GUFE's three campuses offer diverse environments. Xiangsihu Campus, the main campus, features a scenic lake, modern classrooms, a library, and labs. Mingxiu Campus is centrally located with convenient transportation and amenities.

Wuming Campus is a newly built, well-equipped facility. Student dormitories have air conditioning and hot water, and canteens serve a variety of cuisines. Sports facilities include a gym, fields, and a swimming pool. International student apartments provide comfortable living.
