Sanming University

Sanming University, located in Sanming City, Fujian Province, is a full-time undergraduate institution with a strong focus on applied education. It was granted master's degree authorization in 2024. Its history traces back to the Quanmin Normal School founded in 1903, known as the 'source of Fujian's teacher education.' The university was officially established as a four-year institution in 2004.

Covering 1,429 mu (about 95 hectares), it comprises 14 schools, 53 undergraduate programs, and 3 master's degree programs, with nearly 15,000 full-time students. As a pilot university for the Ministry of Education's Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base and AI-empowered Teacher Development, Sanming University actively promotes school-enterprise cooperation and international exchanges.

Sanming University's core strengths lie in its applied orientation and industry-education integration. It is among the first batch of pilot institutions for the Ministry of Education's Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base, with strong programs in mechanical engineering, electronic information, and materials science.

With three master's degree authorization points (in education, engineering, and arts), the university offers a seamless bachelor-to-master pathway.
