Fujian Jiangxia University

Fujian Jiangxia University (FJJXU) is a full-time public undergraduate institution administered by the Fujian Provincial Government, located in the capital city of Fuzhou. The campus covers a planned area of approximately 92.6 hectares.

Officially established in 2010 by the Ministry of Education, the university was formed through the merger of four former colleges: Fujian Economic Management Cadre Institute, Fujian Finance and Accounting Management Cadre Institute, Fujian Political Science and Law Management Cadre Institute, and Fujian Financial Vocational and Technical College.

FJJXU's core strengths lie in its strong application-oriented focus and distinctive disciplines in economics, management, and law. It is recognized as a model application-oriented university and a first-class application-oriented construction university (Category B) in Fujian.

Flagship programs include Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, and Management. The Finance program, originating from the Fujian Bank School established in 1978, boasts deep industry connections and a strong alumni network.

The university has a faculty of 800 full-time teachers, many with senior titles and overseas study or research experience. Teaching combines theory with practice, featuring case-based and project-based learning tailored to industry needs.

Research is supported by several provincial key laboratories, humanities and social science bases, and engineering technology centers, focusing on regional economic development, financial reform, and legal construction. Faculty members have undertaken numerous national and provincial research projects, producing applied outcomes.

The 92.6-hectare campus is green and modern, located in Fuzhou's University Town, surrounded by other institutions for a vibrant academic atmosphere. Facilities include a library, gymnasium, student activity center, laboratories, and training bases.
