Changzhi Medical College

Changzhi Medical College is a provincial full-time medical institution located in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, authorized to grant master's degrees. Founded in 1946 as a nursing school affiliated with the Bethune International Peace Hospital, it became an undergraduate college in 1986.

The college has two campuses: the main campus and Wulong Campus, covering an area of 1,040.78 mu with a building area of 375,000 square meters. It enrolls over 16,000 students, including master's, undergraduate, and continuing education students.

Changzhi Medical College's flagship program is clinical medicine, recognized as a pilot university under the Ministry of Education's 'Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program' and included in the Basic Capacity Building Project for Central and Western Universities.

It is a pilot unit for clinical medicine master's professional degree training, with a strong reputation in Shanxi and surrounding regions. The faculty includes 678 full-time teachers, 249 with senior titles, 217 with doctoral degrees, and 634 with master's degrees or above.

The college comprises 21 teaching departments offering 24 undergraduate programs across medicine, science, engineering, and management. Teaching and research equipment totals over 200 million yuan, with several provincial key laboratories and research platforms.
