Jilin Police College

Located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, Jilin Police College is the only public security undergraduate institution in the province. Its history dates back to 1949 when the Jilin Provincial Public Security Cadre School was founded, and it was upgraded to a bachelor's degree-granting college in 2010.

The college has two campuses, Jingyue and Leshan, covering a total area of 462,200 square meters with a building area of 190,600 square meters. As one of the first 13 public security colleges in China, it has long been dedicated to cultivating high-quality police professionals.

Jilin Police College's core strengths lie in its deep-rooted expertise and industry influence in public security education. As the cradle of police talent in Jilin Province, it offers 21 undergraduate programs including Investigation, Public Security, Criminal Science and Technology, and Traffic Management Engineering.

Investigation and Public Security are provincial-level specialty programs, and its Criminal Science and Technology lab is among the most advanced in China. Being one of the first 13 public security colleges nationwide, the college boasts extensive practical teaching resources such as simulated police stations, tactical training grounds, and shooting ranges.

In academics and research, Jilin Police College has a well-structured faculty with rich practical experience, over 60% of whom are dual-qualified teachers (both academic and professional). Many have participated in major case investigations or police reform research.

The curriculum follows an integrated model of 'teaching, learning, training, and combat', offering specialized courses such as Police English and International Police Cooperation, along with virtual simulation platforms to enhance students' ability to handle complex scenarios.

The college's two campuses offer a pleasant environment. The Jingyue campus is adjacent to the national 5A-level scenic area Jingyue Lake, surrounded by lush trees and fresh air; the Leshan campus is located in southern Changchun with convenient transportation.

Both campuses are equipped with modern teaching buildings, libraries, e-reading rooms, standard sports fields, and indoor gyms. Student dormitories are 4-6 person rooms with air conditioning, water heaters, and private bathrooms, ensuring comfortable living.
