Baoji University of Arts and Sciences

Located in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, Baoji University of Arts and Sciences (BUAS) is a full-time undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a master's degree-granting unit and a member of Shaanxi's 'Domestic First-Class Discipline Construction Universities' and 'Double First-Class' initiative.

Its history dates back to 1958 with the founding of Baoji Institute of Technology, evolving through mergers to become BUAS in 1992. In 2025, the university announced plans to rename to Shaanxi University of Arts and Sciences, reflecting its growing stature.

BUAS is traditionally strong in arts and sciences, while also offering programs in engineering, management, law, education, economics, and arts.
