Jilin Institute of Physical Education

Founded in 1958, Jilin Institute of Physical Education is located in Changchun, Jilin Province, a city known for its beautiful environment and distinct four seasons. As the only higher education institution specializing in physical education in Jilin Province, it is dedicated to cultivating high-level sports talents in competitive sports, physical education, and sports health.

The institute has two campuses, Nanling and Linhe, covering an area of 627,000 square meters, with new campus construction underway. It hosts over 10,000 full-time students and more than 600 faculty and staff, including national-level coaches and sports research experts.

Jilin Institute of Physical Education boasts significant advantages in sports education. Its flagship programs include Physical Education, Sports Training, and Social Sports Guidance and Management, all highly regarded nationally.

The institute is a candidate for doctoral degree authorization in Jilin Province and a member of the Jilin Province High-Level Characteristic University Construction Project, highlighting its leading role in academic research and talent development.

Academically, Jilin Institute of Physical Education has a highly qualified faculty, including national-level coaches, sports discipline leaders, and teachers with overseas study backgrounds. The institute comprises 10 teaching units offering 20 undergraduate programs covering sports science, education, management, and interdisciplinary fields.
