Longdong University is a provincial public undergraduate institution located in Qingyang City, Gansu Province. Founded in 1978 as Qingyang Teachers College, it was upgraded to a four-year university in 2003 and renamed Longdong University.
In 2024, it was approved as a master's degree granting institution. The university aims to become a high-level applied science and engineering university in western China, focusing on cultivating practical and innovative talents.
