Shandong Management University

Shandong Management University (SDMU) is a full-time public undergraduate institution located in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. It operates two campuses in Licheng and Changqing districts, covering an area of approximately 1,103 mu.

The university traces its roots to the Shandong Provincial Trade Union Cadre School founded in 1938, and was restructured into a regular undergraduate university in 2013 with approval from the Ministry of Education. SDMU focuses on applied talent cultivation and is designated as a pilot institution for the Ministry of Education's 'Internet + Made in China 2025' industry-education integration plan and the Data China 'Hundred Schools Project'.

SDMU's core strength lies in management disciplines, complemented by economics, engineering, literature, and arts. It excels in industry-education integration as a pilot for the '1+X' certificate system, with strong ties to enterprises for practical training.

The Data China project equips the university with specialized resources in big data and smart manufacturing. Recognized in Shandong's applied undergraduate university construction list, SDMU emphasizes practical skills and enjoys a solid reputation in the regional job market, with consistently high graduate employment rates.

The university boasts a qualified faculty of 838 staff, including 665 full-time teachers, many with overseas experience. The curriculum blends theory with practice, featuring emerging fields like big data, AI, and cross-border e-commerce.

SDMU has multiple provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration centers and research platforms, with teaching and research equipment valued over 70 million RMB. Small-class teaching and project-based learning are encouraged.

Both campuses are conveniently located in Jinan city. The Licheng campus features historic greenery, while the Changqing campus offers modern facilities including smart classrooms, a library, and a gymnasium. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms.

Multiple dining halls provide diverse cuisine. Sports facilities include track fields, basketball and tennis courts. An entrepreneurship incubation base and art center enrich campus life.
