Anyang Institute of Technology

Located in Anyang, a historic city in Henan Province, Anyang Institute of Technology (AIT) is a provincial full-time undergraduate university. Founded in 1983 as Anyang University, it was upgraded to a bachelor's degree-granting institution in 2004.

As a member of the CDIO Engineering Education Alliance and the Sino-American Talent Cultivation Program, AIT actively promotes international cooperation with universities in Germany, the US, and beyond. The campus covers 1,500 mu (about 100 hectares) with 650,000 square meters of buildings, hosting around 24,000 students and 1,600 faculty.

AIT excels in engineering education, with two national first-class undergraduate programs and one program accredited by the Ministry of Education's engineering education certification. It offers 59 majors across eight disciplines including engineering, science, agriculture, and management.

The university is a model for industry-education integration, operating 60 provincial-level teaching platforms such as modern industrial colleges and specialized industry academies. It partners with leading enterprises to provide internships and job placements.

AIT boasts a strong faculty of over 1,600, including 448 senior professors and 1,235 with doctoral or master's degrees, plus 80 experts receiving national or provincial honors. It offers 59 undergraduate and 10 associate programs, with two national first-class courses and 193 provincial teaching projects.

The university has teaching and research equipment worth 540 million yuan, a library with 2.03 million print books and 1.52 million e-books. It houses multiple provincial key labs and engineering research centers, encouraging students to participate in faculty research projects to develop innovation and practical skills.
