Hezhou University

Hezhou University, located in Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a public full-time undergraduate institution sponsored by the People's Government of Guangxi. Its history dates back to 1943 with the founding of Guangxi Provincial Pingle Normal School, and it was upgraded to a university in 2006 with approval from the Ministry of Education.

The university has two campuses (East and West) covering about 91 hectares, with over 20,000 full-time students and 1,570 faculty members. As one of the first partner universities of the Ministry of Education and ZTE Corporation's ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base Project, Hezhou University deeply integrates with regional economic development and emphasizes internationalization.

Hezhou University is a key institution for the Ministry of Education's 'Emerging Engineering Education' research and practice projects and a first-class discipline construction university in Guangxi. It excels in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and emerging engineering fields.

The university collaborates with ZTE to build an industry-education integration innovation base, providing students with cutting-edge practical platforms and industry resources. As one of the first demonstration universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Guangxi, it has achieved notable results in innovation competitions.

The university boasts teaching and research equipment valued at 250 million yuan and a library with over 1.8 million paper books. It houses multiple provincial-level key laboratories and engineering research centers. There are 11 teaching units, and the faculty includes a growing number of professors and PhD holders.

The curriculum emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, adopting an 'industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation' model. Partnerships with companies like ZTE and Huawei enable joint course development and training bases.
