Guangxi Science & Technology Normal University

Guangxi Science & Technology Normal University is located in Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a branch campus in Liuzhou City. It is a full-time public undergraduate institution sponsored by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government.

The university is one of the first pilot universities of the Ministry of Education's Data China 'Hundred Schools Project,' a pilot school for the overall transformation and development of newly established undergraduate institutions in Guangxi, and a co-built university by the Guangxi Department of Science and Technology and Laibin Municipal People's Government.

Guangxi Science & Technology Normal University's core strengths lie in its distinctive focus on data technology and its industry-education integration model. As one of the first pilot universities of the Ministry of Education's Data China 'Hundred Schools Project,' it offers cutting-edge curricula and practical platforms in data science, artificial intelligence, and big data technology.

The university has one national-level first-class undergraduate program and eight provincial-level first-class undergraduate programs, with education, computer science, and food science and engineering enjoying high reputations in Guangxi.

In teaching and research, Guangxi Science & Technology Normal University boasts a well-structured and highly qualified faculty. Among full-time teachers, 261 hold senior professional titles, and 597 hold master's or doctoral degrees.

The university has also recruited 78 teaching experts and highly skilled talents from primary/secondary schools and enterprises. It offers 37 undergraduate programs through 20 secondary teaching units, with distinctive specializations in data science and big data technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics engineering.

Guangxi Science & Technology Normal University has two campuses in Laibin and Liuzhou, covering a total area of 1,617.1 mu (about 107.8 hectares) with a building area of 512,900 square meters. The main Laibin campus features a beautiful environment with scenic spots like Wangyue Lake, Wangyue Pavilion, and Yiran Pavilion, surrounded by lush greenery.

The teaching, research, and administrative space totals 240,500 square meters, including modern classrooms, laboratories, a library, and a gymnasium. Student dormitories are well-equipped with air conditioning, hot water, and internet access.
