Guizhou University of Engineering Science

Guizhou University of Engineering Science is located in Bijie, Guizhou Province, in the heart of the Wumeng Mountains. The campus sits on the banks of the Liucang River, with Biyang Lake to the south and Dexi Wetland Park to the north, offering a tranquil, tree-shaded environment rich in culture and scholarship.

The university is a partner institution under the Ministry of Education's 'Pairing Support for Higher Education Institutions in Western China' program, a National Model University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and one of the 100 national universities for industry-education integration application-oriented projects.

The university excels in application-oriented education, with industry-education integration and innovation entrepreneurship as its core strengths. As one of the 100 national industry-education integration project universities, it collaborates closely with enterprises, featuring a national-level off-campus practice education base and multiple provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers.

Flagship programs include engineering, science, and education, with 6 provincial first-class disciplines and key disciplines, 10 provincial first-class undergraduate programs, and 5 nationally accredited teacher education programs.

The university boasts a highly qualified faculty of over 1,000 staff, including national outstanding teachers, provincial experts, academic leaders, and teaching masters. Academically, it offers 88 provincial first-class courses, one provincial humanities and social science demonstration base, one provincial science popularization demonstration base, and four provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers.

Research platforms include five provincial science and technology innovation talent teams, two provincial teaching teams, and two new engineering projects and one new liberal arts project. The Bijie Human Resources Industrial Park Gui Gong Cheng Campus serves as an industry-academia-research platform.

Covering over 1,100 mu, the campus features teaching and research equipment valued at over 140 million RMB, a library with 1.2 million paper books, and 10 electronic resource platforms. The scenic Liucang River flows through the campus, surrounded by Biyang Lake and Dexi Wetland Park, creating a green and peaceful study environment.
