Shangluo University

Located in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains, Shangluo University enjoys a beautiful natural environment and pleasant climate. It is a full-time undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, one of the national 100 applied universities for industry-education integration, a construction unit of Shaanxi's 'First-class College' initiative, a pilot university for transformation development, and a university jointly built by the province and city.

The university traces its origins to 1976 and was upgraded to a bachelor's degree-granting institution in 2006. It has three campuses covering over 900 mu, 11 schools and a Physical Education Teaching and Research Department, offering 42 undergraduate programs with over 12,000 enrolled students.

Shangluo University's core strength lies in industry-education integration. It was selected into the national 100 applied universities for industry-education integration by the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

It is a founding member of the Hanjiang River Basin University Alliance. The university has a strong reputation in applied talent cultivation, deeply cooperating with local governments and enterprises to build internship bases and industrial colleges.

The university boasts a high-quality faculty of over 900 staff, including two dual-appointed academicians (Academician Zhao Pengda of CAS and Academician Zhang Shengyong of CAE), six second- and third-level professors, and 23 recipients of provincial talent programs such as Shaanxi 'Special Support Plan' and 'Young Outstanding Talent Support Plan'.

It houses provincial key laboratories like the Shaanxi Qinling Ecological Protection Key Laboratory and the Shaanxi Tailings Resource Comprehensive Utilization Key Laboratory, along with multiple engineering research centers.

Nestled at the foot of the Qinling Mountains, the campus is lush with greenery and distinct seasons, often called 'the most beautiful campus in Qinling'. It features modern teaching buildings, laboratories, a library, and sports facilities.

The library has rich collections and electronic resources. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning, hot water, and private bathrooms for convenience. Multiple canteens, supermarkets, bank outlets, and sports fields are available on campus.
