Shaanxi Xueqian Normal University

Shaanxi Xueqian Normal University is situated in Xi'an, a world-famous historical and cultural city in China, with two campuses: Yanta and Chang'an. As a full-time public undergraduate university established by the Shaanxi Provincial Government, it focuses on teacher education, particularly in preschool and primary education.

Selected as one of the 100 applied undergraduate universities in the National Education Modernization Promotion Project, the university is dedicated to cultivating practical, application-oriented talents. It hosts several provincial-level institutions, including the Shaanxi Preschool and Primary School Teacher Development Center and the Shaanxi Training Center for Principals and Kindergarten Directors, making it a core base for teacher training and certification in the province.

Research focuses on basic education reform, child development, and teacher education, supported by platforms like the Shaanxi Preschool and Primary School Teacher Development Center. The university boasts teaching and research equipment valued at 95 million RMB, a library with 1.73 million print books and 1.4682 million e-books.

The university has two campuses: Yanta in downtown Xi'an, near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum, offering a rich cultural atmosphere; and Chang'an in the southern university town, with a modern and scenic environment.

The total area is 481,700 square meters. Facilities include teaching buildings, labs, a library, and sports venues. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning and internet, and dining halls provide diverse options, including halal food.
