Sichuan Minzu College is a provincial full-time undergraduate institution located in Kangding City and Luding County of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, operating across one campus with two sites and three zones.
As the only public undergraduate university in the Kham region (covering Chamdo in Tibet, Yushu in Qinghai, Diqing in Yunnan, and Garzê in Sichuan), it plays a vital role in cultivating talent for ethnic areas and promoting cultural exchange.

Flagship majors include Ethnology, Chinese Ethnic Minority Languages and Literature (Tibetan), Tourism Management, and Ecology, which are closely tied to local resources and culture.
The college comprises 15 secondary schools offering programs across 10 disciplines: literature, education, law, economics, management, science, engineering, agriculture, arts, and history. It provides 36 undergraduate majors and ethnic preparatory education.
Teaching and research equipment totals nearly 200 million yuan, with 172 on-campus labs and 167 school-level practice bases. The library holds over 1.3 million paper books, 430,000 e-books, and 20 electronic databases. The faculty includes over 900 full-time teachers, with a growing proportion holding advanced degrees.
The college has two campuses in Kangding and Luding, both set in stunning highland valley landscapes. Kangding campus is in the 'Love Song City', while Luding campus is near the historic Luding Bridge. The campuses are lush with greenery, featuring streams, bridges, and seasonal beauty.
